Help is Our Main Goal

Islamic Arabic Study Association & Nursery School (IASANS) was established in 1975 in Banjul, 46 Lancaster Street and Box Bar Road Junction.

IASANS was founded by Imam Abdullah Saho known as (Oustaz Saho) with the support of the late Imam Abdoulie Jobe (R.A), Alhaji Mari Jagana (R.A) and the committee of Board of Directors, such as Oustaz Mass Kah, Mustapha Jallow, Alhajie Boubu Sillah, Alhaji Bunama Jagne, Aji Rohey Njie , Ya Jatta Jagne, Touray Sillah, Sakou Njie, Tijan Jobe, Alhaji Baba Drammeh, Matarr Ceesay, Pa Arfang Barrow and Aji Haddy Gaye.

As the institution has a private school, starting from Kindergarten, Memorization of The Holy Quran (Tahfizul Quran) and Primary school, it has begotten other institutions in Banjul, Ebo Town and Mbollet Ba.

The association established a relief foundation in 2021 called Darul Ma’arif Relief Foundation. It works on humanitarian development by taking part in community works, development of projects among other related services.

We work in The Gambia to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social development.

The Association seeks to provide the best development services and education of the moderate Islamic Religion, Human and Educational Values as well as to provide skills, religious programs and cultural activities through which it can promote youth and the role of children and adults in carrying out their duties towards the ideal society.
